1. Ear instruction or aural ability.

This is only one of those fundamental music skills that pupils are taught in college. By this, they are permitted to determine musical elements like the tune, pitch, chords, rhythm, intervals and tone by listening.  Undoubtedly, among the aspects that allow you to appreciate the artwork, the ear should have the ability to distinguish music.  The listener is trained to listen to and spot delightful music so that the pupils can produce art and become more appreciative of their craft.

2. Absolute pitch.

This is an ability that allows an individual to create or determine a sound or a song about some element.  This can be used in combination with ear training, as with the two essential skills you reproduce and can recreate artwork.  By hearing a chord or a note, you can recognize and name each. Additionally, it lets you sing with perfection.

3. Fingering.

If you're supposed to play with musical instruments, this is a major skill you want to teach. There are finger placement techniques to each chord that you strike. Proper placement of fingers prevents your hands from getting an excess strain. The logic behind this would also be to allow your hands to maintain their place and to enable you to switch hand rankings.

Fingering controls the game of one’s performance, that is, it majorly effects how you play an instrument.

4. Modulation

It is the change from one tonality (tonic, or tonal center) to another. This may or may not be accompanied by a change in key signature. Modulations articulate or create the structure or form of many pieces, as well as add interest.

This ability will enable you to decipher the composer, and out of the composer's point of view, incorporating modulation will let him communicate. Such music skills are essential to connect the artist to the listeners.  Learning permits you to be appreciative and interested.  Music deserves admiration and is a part of our lives.

5. Be a Superb communicator

This is true for any instructor. Students have to be provided with the chance to test out things from the lesson, instead of needing to listen to long speeches by the instructor. This would end up taking almost all of the time of the class.  So while it's crucial to have the ability to communicate points and theories, it's also essential to be effective at concisely doing this, allowing the songs to develop beautifully.

6. Identify issues quickly

You do not need to criticize that there is a student currently underperforming, even though it feels like one of your pupils can not even play for ten minutes.  It could be a case of identifying an issue by using strategy or their technique to enhance matters.  The capability to do so will help you to be a better music teacher.

7. Believe that everybody can attain their full capacity

All pupils learn at different paces and in a variety of manners.  This may signify you need to repeat matters whereas another may grasp the point you're making.  Teachers need to have the ability to be strict and also have the patience to deal with students. Teachers need to believe in students and appreciate their will to learn and acknowledge their hard work. Connect with the students, they will learn better if they sense that a relationship is developing. It also ensures that you dedicate your time when in a class.
