HOBBIES OF GODS
Hindu deities are each significant in their ways, each of them representing a significant feature or aspect in Hindu culture, or even culture in general. From Goddess Lakshmi being known as the goddess of wealth and purity, to Lord Brahma as the creator of the universe, to Lord Shiva being considered a destructor among many other titles. Each Hindu deity has a specific action, a hobby or an icon that is often associated with their image, and it holds a powerful significance with the deities powers and image in itself. For example, Lord Brahma’s iconography is often presented with him having three faces, each facing different directions – its significance rising from the four Vedas in Hinduism. There are many more iconographies and actions that are unique to a Hindu deity, and given below are the five of the known ones.
